How will you contribute to a more sustainable public space in 2025?

How will you contribute to a more sustainable public space in 2025?

In 2025, sustainability will play an increasingly important role in shaping public spaces. Municipalities, companies, and organisations are being challenged to embrace environmentally friendly and circular solutions. But how concrete are your plans to contribute to a more sustainable living environment? Do you already have insight into innovative solutions, or could you use some inspiration?

At AGMI, we are happy to take steps towards a sustainable future together. We help think through smart, circular applications that not only extend the lifespan of materials but also save energy and reduce the ecological footprint.

Sustainable solutions for public spaces

To put sustainability into practice, there are numerous innovative solutions that contribute to a more efficient and environmentally friendly public space. Here are some examples from our product range:

1. Re-Sign: Give traffic signs a second life

With Re-Sign, old traffic and wayfinding signs are reused instead of discarded. Thanks to this technique, decommissioned signs get a second life and are indistinguishable from new signs. The result? Up to 80 years of lifespan and a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions.

2. 5 Watt illuminated wayfinder: energy-efficient and sustainable

Traditional illuminated wayfinders consume a lot of energy and need frequent replacement. Our 5-watt illuminated wayfinder provides an energy-efficient alternative that uses up to 75% less power and lasts twice as long. This means fewer replacements and lower energy costs.

3. Replaceable and reusable displays

At portals and mobility hubs, information often needs to be updated. Instead of replacing the entire portal or hub, we use replaceable and reusable displays. This way, only the display is renewed while the rest remains intact. And displays made of aluminium? They can be Re-Signed and reused again.

Moving together towards a sustainable future

Sustainability requires smart choices within the framework of laws and regulations. That’s why we work according to the principles of the R-Ladder, where reuse and recycling are central. Whether you already have concrete plans or are still looking for inspiration, we are happy to work with you to develop the smartest and most sustainable solutions.
