Custom school zones for Horst aan de Maas

Safety and visibility, tailored to the municipality

The Municipality of Horst aan de Maas had previously had school zones supplied by AGMI. When a school within the municipality relocated, and other locations still lacked school zones, there arose a renewed need for new zones. This time, the municipality wanted school zones that were not only functional but also visually aligned with the identity of Horst aan de Maas.

Our approach

At AGMI, we believe in tailor-made solutions that make an impact. That’s why we were actively involved from the very beginning. Based on our previous collaboration, we developed several design proposals:

• 1 design in our standard colors
• 2 designs in the municipal colors, each with a different pattern

This gave the municipality not only the freedom of choice but also insight into how the zones could visually contribute to the recognition and appearance of the public space.

Tailor-made solution

After consultation, the municipality chose a pattern in its own municipal colors. We then fully produced these designs—of course in accordance with C2C principles (Cradle to Cradle). This means: sustainable materials, circular production, and a long service life.

Result

All school zones in Horst aan de Maas have now been replaced or expanded with the new, tailor-made designs. This first client-specific production marks the beginning of a recognizable style throughout the municipality.
