AGMI has installed two VICA height detection masts on vibratable foundation pipes on the N62 in the southbound direction. These masts have been installed to detect and warn vehicles that are too tall to enter the Westerschelde tunnel. Height-adjustable mountings allow the customer to position the cameras at the correct height as required.
These durable aluminum masts are fully custom-made by AGMI (NEN1090) and Cradle to Cradle certified.
The client (Westerscheldetunnel Maintenance VOF) was looking for masts on which to mount their height detection supports.
We have already supplied this customer with various portals and masts at a number of other locations on which they could install their height detection supports. Thanks to our pleasant working relationship, they chose us again. Our masts are also ideal for installing adjustable mountings, which is perfect for adjusting the height of the height detection cameras.
Thanks in part to the good coordination between the customer, AGMI, and the contractor, this project went quite smoothly. Setbacks in lead times were addressed in close consultation, so that everything was installed as quickly as possible.
