AGMI Traffic & Lighting is supplying a total of 1,500 of the estimated 6,000 to 10,000 new signs that are needed throughout the Netherlands. These are the familiar round signs that indicate the speed limit and the rectangular sub-signs that indicate the times of day when the speed limit applies.
Why AGMI Traffic & Lighting?
We consider sustainability to be of paramount importance. We use recycled raw materials for this purpose and can also reuse old traffic signs by cleaning them and applying new foil. The latter was not difficult in the case of the Rijkswaterstaat project. Time was of the essence, as the signs had to be installed within a tight timeframe.
How did the project go?
The project went well and we were able to install all the signs on time. Rush job or not, we have so much experience that we always succeed!
Products supplied
In total, we supplied 1,500 signs, including Re-Sign signs. Re-Sign is our refurbished sign that is reused and given a new lease of life. We collect these signs from municipalities, provinces, and Rijkswaterstaat and provide them with a new anti-toxic paint layer and new foil. This means the signs can be reused several times.
