The challenge facing the Municipality of The Hague

The Municipality of The Hague had set itself the goal of having the environmental zones operational by 2025. This meant that all the necessary signs had to be delivered within three weeks, including an innovative solution for installing the signs in advance but only making them visible from the effective date. AGMI was asked to solve this complex challenge.

Ontwikkeling en advies
  • Design of signs in accordance with laws and regulations.
  • We recommended the use of removable graphic printing. This meant that the signs could be installed well in advance of the effective date and only the film needed to be removed to make them operational.
  • Active communication about the status of orders, so that the municipality was always aware of the progress.
Productie en levering
  • Production of 584 traffic signs, fully compliant with laws and regulations.
  • Use of aluminum so that the product can be reused at the end of its service life.
  • Delivery within 3 weeks.
Beheer en hergebruik
  • The signs have been developed with our  ReSign-proces in mind. That is why we have opted for (100% recycled) aluminum. This means that the signs can be reused, which not only saves costs but also reduces the environmental impact.
