Delivered products

Within this project, AGMI provided 85 emergency doors with the necessary safety equipment and provided them with additional support. Each emergency door has been provided with an emergency luminaire with a sound beacon and accent and contour lighting. In addition to the emergency exit doors, AGMI produced no less than 355 emergency post luminaires and more than 1.500 various after glowing and static signs.

Because all of AGMI’s products can be installed quickly and easily by means of pluggable connectors and hinged brackets, Strukton decided to take care of the installation of the products themselves. Therefore, we also put them into operation. AGMI also developed a unique delivery system to protect all of the products from getting damaged and the storage was kept to a minimum.

Particularities project

Are you aware of the fact that the shortest escape route is not always the safest? In consultation with the customer, a new inventive dynamic Mid Tunnel Canal luminaire with integrated sound beacon has been designed, in which the safest route on the dynamic signs is projected. It is, therefore, always necessary to follow the instructions projected on the luminaires.

These dynamic luminaires consist of a green surface with arrows showing the distance to the end of the escape route and a prohibitory sign in the opposite direction. If either one of the positions are not controlled, the signs are not legible. Moreover, the signs can change their position, depending on where the incident occurred. In case of an incident, the tunnel fans automatically start working, in order for people to be able to escape safely in the opposite direction. The dynamic luminaires are switched on for a safe route to be created. By integrating a speaking function into the fixture, people in distress will continuously be provided with an audio message saying that they should follow the arrows. As a result, there is no chance of accidentally deviating from the route.

An inventive and entirely safe solution!
